Well it’s the beginning of a brand new month, which means it’s time for a brand new mix, as i desperately try to get to grip with Kindergarten mixing software (“Err… what’s reverb??”). This months mix came to me as i normally get a good view of Reykjavik’s mountain range, Esja from where i work, but over the last week there had been a LOT of low clouds and grey skies that have obscured this vision of rock. so with that in Mind i give to you.
THE LOW SKY OVER ESJA…
Starts off with some good Post Punk Style Rhythmic pounding, before it gives way to some classic EBM and new pop electronics, eventually ending with some post-industrial dimension nightscape sounds. Again Many things escape my limited abilities, such as controlling the bloody volume of tracks and stuff, but I’m giving you something for free, so shut the fuck up!
Also, due to the hassle with Soundcloud, and that you can’t host Mixcloud on wordpress.com (edit – I’ve since been shown a way you can do this apparently. I will be trying this out in the next day or two…), I’ve had to resort to buying bandwidth so i can the bloody thing on here! This is officially the first money I’ve had to shell out on this millstone. And something tells me it may not be the last. Anyhow, listen, download and despair…
