Yes it’s that moment when the itch needs scratching and i just get that compulsion where i have to put some music together into a nice dark little mix. It be Nordic Interstitial Thresholds Time!
This month’s mix seemed a bit harder to do that other one’s. Not that they’re easy to do mind you,. they’re always a challenge for these cloth ears to put together. But i had to go through 2 earlier drafts before i was sort of happy with it. Also, i think I’m going to stop doing the spoken pieces in future mixes – I really hate the sound of my voice and i cringe a lot when i hear it. also i tend to do them off the top of my head after a few beers. And it shows. I only did them because Robin LeBlanc threatened to break my ankles f i didn’t do them!
