Some excellent new today.
SWANS have announced a big Autumn 2012 Tour. Check Thursday November 1st. Yes, they are playing at Iceland Airwaves! This makes me happy. Immensely happy. I hope they get a decent place/spot to play, and also some decent people on their line up. Perhaps some of the young “cool” bands so they can seriously mess with their heads!
I posted this in a FB conversation about the news. A live performance from when Swans got back from their split/hiatus. If Michael Gira can still generate a field of energy close to what being projected here, then this years Airwaves may be saved!
