Music Moment – Wildbirds and Peacedrums “Bleed like there was no other Flood”

23 May

Evening there fellow denizens of the night…

Time for some music. Tonight i give you “Bleed like there was no other Flood” by Wildbirds and Peacedrums from their new Retina EP. They´re a Swedish duo who make dark minimalist music centred on drums, percussion and strong striking vocals.

They´ve been to Iceland before, working with the likes of Ben Frost. For Retina and their following EPs, they’re collaborating with the dozen-strong Schola Cantorum Reykjavík Chamber Choir, with arrangements by Icelandic composer Hildur Guðnadóttir.

The end result is powerful despite the fact that it´s only vocals and percussion. Listen if you are a fan of the likes of Fever Ray and Björk.

Night Night!
